Default Things didn't go to plan today.

I noticed all of my wheels had 13/16 lugs and a and after I started doing my research I found that they are Lexus lugs. All was well until I got to the left front and realized one of the lugs are OEM. It's stuck and the cap spins. I know I'm going to have to wreck the cap to get it off and get a replacement lug. I ran out of patience at this point after fumbling with the new lugs I received with the wheels realizing acorns aren't going to work on Coventry wheels, so for tonight this is how it will sit. Hopefully the removal of the damaged OEM lug goes smoothly tomorrow.

Oh and I have one wheel stud that has the head snapped off. There's plenty of thread for the Toyota/Lexus lug nuts, but where could I get a replacement without buying the whole hub?

Check this: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...8/#post1026610

I believe these were autozone/advance/pep boys auto parts.

Thanks

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm hoping I'll be able to tear the cap off the bad lug this afternoon and back it out with the inner lug nut.

Just knock a slightly smaller socket onto it until it grips and then use the rachet as per normal.

I peeled off the cap and did this. I broke two sockets and finally drove over to a tire shop. The guy there hammered a much thicker walled socket on and it took a good 20 seconds of constant pressure with an air gun to knock it loose. Luckily the lug wasn't galled and I now have my wheels all on.
