Transmission fault and others
Car xj8 vdp, 78k has a few odd transmission issues. Love any thoughts.
1. Occasionally will have big flare or false neutral 3-4. No codes or errors
2. Transmission fault light came on them went out, no codes stored
3. When in drive, TC does not lock up and when coasting there is no engine braking, basically returns to neutral.
When in manual mode, the engine braking seems OK, but still no TC lockup in 3, 4 or 5.
Have changed oil, and plan to reset transmissions and try re-flashing.
Do we think we have a TC issue, or is it a transmission hydraulic valve body issue?
Could solenoids do this ?
