Performance Automatic - 6R80 Deep Aluminum Trans Pan

Some other post mention that the 6hp26 tranny is equivalent to Ford 6r80 tranny and wondering if the pan for the ford will be an alternative option to ours also? I love the deep pan and the extra capacity it offers because it will help in prolong the fluid life and cooling.

Any insight to this?
