Question from two to four zone climate update

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if in my superv8 is technically possible to upgrade from the standard two zone climate to the much better looking fourzone. I know there is not much use in it, but I've Always liked the look of it and since this forum is very technical, I tought why not submit this thread.
A hint to were to buy and what parts are necessary will be welcome as well.

Thanx.

In theory yes, you can add the rear climate control. But this is not just the console and rear display that changes--there is an additional heater core and a/c evaporator that serves the rear. So the cooling and a/c system plumbing will change and components will be added. All the additional wiring, temperature controls, blower, and sensors need to be installed. The vehicle will need to have the options configured for rear climate as well.

When trying to add something like this, the best bet is to find a donor car with all the parts so you can take the entire system. Even then you'll run into issues with minor differences that you didn't anticipate.
