Upgrade Bluetooth?
I've moved your post from the X300 section to the X350 section. A 2007 Xj8 is an X350, I also moved your other post to the correct place.
Not familiar with the software versions on the bluetooth systems. But if you are hoping to get multiple phones to pair to the existing system, there was a major hardware change for that (completely different module) nothing that software can fix.
