Default Upper control arm bolt troubles. Solved!

I just started the installation of a complete Arnott coil conversion set, and have hit my first snag. The heads on the upper control arms are kind of narrow, or shallow, and a 17 mm tool has a loose/sloppy fit. They seem to have a high torque value, but I see rounded corners in my future before I get them broken loose. Any tips? I'm replacing them on the advice off Don B, so if it all goes awry, at least I'll know who to Blame. Whom.

Default

I thought the bolts went into captive nuts like at the bottom of the shock absorber. When I discovered the meaty locknuts on the other end of each bolt that was the key. Getting to them with a box end wrench, now that was the start of a new brain teaser.
