I am looking for a way to permanently disconnect the Valet mode on my 2000 XJ VDP. The alert goes off constantly with the motion of the car, seat ,activating other switches. It does not lock the trunk,glove box , or restrict performance. It...just.....beeps.....constantly. It has become an issue. I know how to reset the valet mode. My situation is different, though. Does anyone have a good way about doing this? Do I need to remove the dash, or is there a fuse?

You have posted in the X350 section, please post in the X308 section.(figure 13.1,13.2,13.3,13.4 of the electrical guide S2000_SED.pdf shows the switch wiring)

Disconnecting either wire CC1-2 or CC1-6 will disable the switch.
