Background: I have an '04 VDP. 133K on it. It's been in storage for the winter. Had a full tank of fuel and stabilizer and was started and run weekly. No issues or warning lights... just took out of storage... and replaced battery.


I was warming up my car this morning and as I went to drive away a litany of warning lights lit up- transmission fail, brake fail, low brake fluid, etc. I turned off the car and it wouldn't start. I put the car in gear and then in park and then it restarted but the check engine light was still on... Thoughts?


I replaced the battery a few weeks ago with no issues since... only other known problem is that the stereo stopped working in all speakers but the front ones... have a used amp on order...

 

If you get the yellow MIL, you will have codes stored. If you can read those, we can start to figure it out...
