Hi. I'm new to the X350 Forum having just purchased a 2006 2.7 Diesel - Sovereign, been on the X308 Forum about 7 years now.
I'm getting a message on ignition saying 'Autolamp Delay', I have not seen anything like this on my X308.
As soon as I start the car, the warning disappears until next time I startup. Would appreciate any ideas as to what this is/could be?

Do you have the light selector switch set beyond the "Auto" position - meaning to one of the three progressively longer dash symbols below the "Auto" word?
Those additional dashes below "Auto" signify a delayed turning off of the headlights when you exit the car ...... 10 sec, 30 sec or 2 minutes.
You might simply be seeing the current exit time you have set being display in the message centre as a reminder when you are starting the car.

You were bang on with the cause, causes so much. I learned a lot on the X308 Forum, seems I'm starting all over again lol. I need to find out if there's a method to set an Android phone to the system now, it appears to only have iPhone!

I was able to pair my Android to my 2007, but for reasons I can't recall, I was not happy with the operation of it. I just use my earbuds in the car if I have to.
