Ok guys, as most of you have probably seen im considering a 2006 or newer XJ8 (maybe an XJR) to replace my S type R in spring....Im def sticking to short wheel base with navigation and heated seats. and will get it with the 19" Chrome Sabre Wheels and Chrome Mirror Caps. It will not be my everyday car as my S type R is now.... at least i pray not lol


With this in mind what color combination should i get and why?

With the choices given I like black on black Especially with the chrome wheels and mirror caps!

 

Indigo Blue over Champagne. You don't see these every day.

Indigo blue has got to be the classiest colour for a Jaguar!

 

I own the pacific blue VDP and think it's a lovely color. Really shines great and everyone like it. That being said, my favorites (besides the blue) are zircon, radiance red, and white.

 

so far so good, radiance is def topping my list i gotta be honest...keep it coming guys!

When I was looking for my car, I was looking at the Radiance Red. Could not find one equipped the way I wanted, but found a Seafoam/Sand that gets a lot of compliments.

 

Red followed by Black... The blue is pretty too.
Before this XJ8 I had an S-type in the medium blue color (sorry I don't know the name) I thought that was the best color for the S-types. If I were to get an XK it would be black. I don't think I will vear from the XJ's though, I'm way to spoiled!

I say black/black is the best combo. The black also helps the wheels and vice versa. If you are going for black though it'd be better in xjr form. If not the R get it in the radiance red as it looks great whether it is the xj-r or not.

I saw a white/porcelain xjr the other day had to have been 2008/9. Car looked great in the white color with the 20" cremora's. Man it was awesome.

BRG is nice too. I wish they had the adriatic blue on the other models...I've only seen one s-type with that color and it looked great as well.

 

 

Get the Indigo if you can find one. This is the rarest of the bunch.

 

Black on black, oops, I mean Ebony and Warm Charcoal, if those are my choices. That was the combo for my04 XJ8. My Super V8 is Radiance and Ivory/Mocha interior. My wife's BMW is Black (metallic) with Ivory/Black interior. Looks good to her.

 

Mine is Lunar Grey with Dove interior...
