wheel spacers for XJR
Any wheel offset to the outboard side of the hub increases the load on the wheel bearings. The X308 front wheel bearings are not engineered with much of a safety factor...X300 bearings will also suffer a shorter lifespan when wheel spacers are used, they're just a little cheaper to replace in the front. Rear bearings are the same setup on both cars, and a bit involved to replace also.
I have one customer who has installed aftermarket wheels on his four XJ40's over the last ten years: he prefers the looks over the durability, and it has been good for business.

Mr. V,
As an independant, I rarely get much exposure to new models in my area untill the factory warranty period has ended. Your question is one I cannot answer from experience. Hopefully the front wheel bearings were upgraded from the X308 version.

If you 'assume" its OK just because someone makes them then why ask the question?
Just remember, many items are made for all types of cars but that does not mean they can be used without any adverse effects. The above comment about wheel load is spot on so use spacers at your own risk..........
