Wheel and Tire for Strip/Street use
I am looking to see if anyone knows what I can fit on the rear of my 2004 XJR.
those huge Brembos make me wonder if an 18” wheel might not fit. I would only be using this at the track, then putting my other wheels back on. I also want to run a 275 if possible. I got into a little today and tired started breaking lose around 60 when boost maxed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I run 285/30/20 Toyo R888r's in the rear and they hook great at the track. When they were new, I didn't even have to heat them up and they would still hook. Even with brake boosting/pre-loading (Bradenton track is well prepped too). They are street legal tires, but I highly recommend not driving them in the rain. I have spun out making a turn at low speed in the rain. Otherwise the tires are amazing for track and street racing (...I've been told).
