my xj from 2005 has now driven 544000 km (338025 mls) and it still works fine!

 

Wow.... this is impressive! Original engine and transmission? We want details!

 

2004 xj8 3.5 has done 317,000km in Australia and still going strong. Got her at 247k and reliable daily driver ever since. Original engine, transmission etc but plenty spent on replacing worn parts. Recently did 9000km trip without any issues. Fingers crossed we get to 500,000km!

The car indeed has a new engine and new gearbox, the engine, the 2.7 liter diesel has already been replaced around 250,000 km and the gearbox has been replaced around 400,000 km further, the car actually has few problems except that the air suspension has been replaced for steel suspension every day a pleasure to drive!

 

Just hit 200k miles.... still purring like a dream, though the original front control arms needed replacing at next service.
