Default X350

Require some help with my 2006 XJ8 4.2L X350
Where can I source the rubber suspension components for my X350 ?
Require Front upper control arm ball joint boots ( both sides )
Require Front tie rod ball joint boots ( both sides )
Require Lower control arm boots
Require toe link and tie rod boots
Require Rear upper control arm boots

I have noted that there is a very slight leak in the right shock absorber.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
I live in Christchurch New Zealand and would be happy to ship parts from UK or wherever
Regards

A lot of those parts are made by the Ford Motor Company-cross reference then could save you $$$$$.

Hello. I'm also in New Zealand. I've recently needed some rubber bits as well. I use Spareto for almost everything. They're based in Estonia. Good prices and super fast shipping. Way cheaper than what mechanics here will charge.

Example: I needed two front suspension bushes. Guys here quoted $270 per bush plus labour. I got German-made bushes from Spareto for $66 each. With shipping, it all came to $198. They commented how the new bushes were much better quality than the original Jag ones.

All you'll need is the X350 parts catalogue (available for free online) and you're good to go. Just make sure you check the country of origin of the parts on Spareto. They offer Chinese parts too. Ive bought German air conditioning compressor and condenser, German gaskets and the German bushes.

Best of luck.

Hi xk120,
I am just up the road in Oxford, and user H2o2Steam is also in Christchurch. I hope we can even help each other in person if needed!
I haven't had to do much suspension work yet, just a lower ball joint. Shane at Clinch Automotive was very helpful in pressing that into the upright.

Regards,
Pete M
