X350 Air Bag Light.
Hi, I've had occasional Air Bag 19 code for a while now and was undecided about doing the clock spring myself.
Just found a new independent near me who said they could do it for 1 Hr labour. I sourced a second hand one
from ebay for £23 and yesterday they fitted it. When I collected it the horn would go off everytime I turned the
steering wheel. Apparently a fault if the air bag clips don't click in properly. A couple of minutes getting it clipped
in correctly and everything was fine. By the way, they didn't bother to disconnect the battery! So far no flash code.

Good for you that your problem was solved!
Your workshop is either very experienced and has done the job quite often, or they are quite courageous. Not to disconnect the battery can easily lead to a big bang. All the workshop manuals I know say as a first thing to disconnect the battery and to see that you yourself also discharge any potential charge fromyour body.
Best regards,
Thomas
