Default X350 Color Codes

Can anyone help me out here?
I just purchased my 5th Jag a 2005 XJ Vanden Plas with the color codes HGD (British Racing Green) and the interior code SEL (Barley)... does anyone know what the darker leather shade code is?
ie: the piping, steering wheel and upper door fascia's leather color/code.
I would like to touch up the steering wheel and drivers door due to some wear.
Thank you in advance.

On introduction in 2003 there was a Sand/Sable combination. The Sand would be similar to Barley, but whether your later combination is just a name change, I don't know.

Thumbs up

Thank you Fraser, that makes sense. I do remember the name sable being used as the darker or contrasting interior color.
I think that I will contact the dealer to make sure.

It is attachments like this one that make Jag ownership so interesting and feasible.

Yeah I hunted it down when I first got my SV8. The fabric/ rubber weatherstrip rubber was torn. It happens when guys slide along it getting in and out of the drivers seat.

So I had to dig up the color and hunt for a replacement. The SV8 is LWB so I bought the front and installed it and since I got a deal, I bought the rear.

It's a little longer than the front but I assumed at the time, if the replacement gave out, I could use the rear and just trim it.

Whistling sound disappeared and I still have the rear seal as I've since sold the car.

So if anyone needs a mocha Fabric/ rubber inner door seal, PM me:-)

Default Kick panel removal

How easy is it to remove this trim? My front left kick panel has been - kicked - and a piece broken off. I got a replacement from an auto recycler on eBay.

The fabric/rubber inner seal? Very easy. Takes all of ten minutes to remove and replace one. Just be gentle prying u the sill plate. It will pop up.
