Default X350 obd2

So I just spent several hours scouring the internet (including this forum) for a consumer friendly device capable of reading and clearing ALL possible codes for my 2004 XJR. There seem to be plenty that can do the basics but I specifically want one that can clear the dreaded 'air suspension fault' code, and can't seem to find a confirmed success story with anything less than the stupid-expensive professional units.

Can anyone name a tool that they know for a fact can read and clear all codes from the X350/358's? A bluetooth dongle/smartphone app combo like the launch easydiag or scantool obdlink would be ideal, but ill take a corded standalone unit as long as it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

RelentlessXJR,

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center to X350 forum. The Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center is for posts about the forum and not for technical questions.

Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Have you read the combined forum wisdom on scantools in this thread?

Have a look to that thread.
The Mongoose seems to be the most attractive one:

It's not something an ordinary owner is ever to understand, think about or do so you're looking for a professional tool - the Mongoose JLR is probably the most sensible. Don't expect a user-friendly interface or to use it except as a tech would (on a Windows PC).

you didn't mention your price point or skill set. I have autoenginuity and use it for my Jag and my wife's Mercedes. The Foxwell NT624 maybe more suited to "consumer friendly"
