x350 Suspension upper control arm bushings
Does anyone know where I can buy (stateside) the upper control arm bushings for a 2007 Jaguar XJ8?
I thought my aftermarket maintenance agreement would cover it but I spoke with them this morning and since I have only had the vehicle for about a month they said it wouldn't be covered because it was pre-existing. I told them I thought they should follow suit with Obama Care and cover pre-existing problems but they said only the government could afford to do that. Actually, I agree with them.
I understand these liquid filled bushings are available in Europe but I don't know about here in the states. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Front or rear upper wishbones (US=control arms) ?
AFAIK the bushes for these are not available separately, you have to buy the full wishbone with balljoint and bushes. These parts are NOT cheap, see below
Wishbone Arm - C2C38956 | Jaguar XJ - X350 - XJR | Jaguar | British Parts UK
cheaper here and they do ship to the US

but normally last a very long time compared to the lower wishbones, and anyway, you can get bushes for them.

Try FCP Euro; I saw them for the lower inner but the company is pretty good at taking requests if you call and ask.
here's the link - not sure it'll work for you

Yes CA in cajag stands for California; in this case Bay Area California.
I haven't found another source in CA for Jag parts; I have used thectsc.com for parts/supplies for the ZF in our cars. Their prices are ok - but the indy mechanic I use up here provided near identical pricing on parts when I asked him about the tranny pan/fluid changeout....so either CTSC is charging a lot or my indy isn't marking up the parts prices...I'll let you make the call.

Fraser, Thanks a lot for the two parts houses there in GB. Yes, you are absolutely right. Just Jags does sell the upper control arms at a fairly reasonable price. Not sure about the shipping. I feel like getting a set just to have them available for "when" they go out. Thanks again.............Dan Veenstra

Seems a little pricey when you add in shipping but they're on eBay. $68 shipped.
