xj8 will not start
My 98 jag xj8 stopped in the middle of the road. Tried to start but upon giving it gas it shut off. Seems like a fuel pump but i'm not sure since I had it replace 6 months ago! Can anyone help???
First did you replace the pump or someone else. There is a post as how to change the pump without removing the tank (very good and fast) On the fuel drivers side of the engine there is a fitting towards the front that looks like a tire valve, remove the cap and have someone turn the key on while you push in on the valve to see if you have fuel pressure there(cover your eyes). If no pressure then the hose on your pump has blown off.
