Long story short I need to replace the front hubs, so I'm going to do the rotors at the same time as they will need changing with the next set of pads.

I'm looking at slotted and drilled rotors for the 04 XJR

The best prices i have found are at Brake Rotors Brake Discs Drilled Slotted Rotors however there shipping prices are really high (more then the rotors).
This makes them only slightly cheaper than local prices winch are really high

Does anybody have other sources for rotors and pads

I have Brembo brakes and the best deal I found is at SNG Barratt. The rotors are $600 EACH at the dealer, they are $275 a pair at SNG. I buy Hawk HPS pads from Amazon. They are about $110 per axle, the OEMS are about $300 per axle! You don't say if you have the Brembos or not so this may not apply to you.

 

You might look at these as it seems that Brembo rotors aren't the easiest to find in the US for 2004 XJR's.

Several choices of the higher end EBC's with or without pads included.

 

Hawk is recommended quite a bit as well as Akebono Euro ceramics. I have the latter in my Brembo setup.
