1995 jag starts misfire and dies
uh-oh. New coils. There have been several reported problems with new aftermarket coils causing misfiring and other strange symptoms. Sorry to dig that up, doug!
The sensor near the throttle body (on top) with 4 wires is the iac (idle air control). Unplugged = open = more air though throttle body, probably higher idle rpm. Plug it in and it dies = bad iac, closing off air supply. Or, very dirty throttle body with iac passage blocked too much. However, in theory the iac should compensate for that, by opening more to keep the rpm in range.

i just checked the two front oxy SENSORS AND SIGNAL WIRE SWITCHES ON AND OFF WHEN WARM EVERY FEW SECONDS AND THE HEATERS NEVER COME ON .
the signal will fluctuate between 0 and 3v on/ off
the signal will fluctuate between 0 and 3v on/ off
schematic labled "AJ16 NA Federal Engine Management"
Fedex finally gave a response they gave it to us postal to deliver it tomorrow. It was here in town this morning but they turned it over to us postal service . It took 8 days to get here from berlin wi. In usa
i dont know why tps is getting spikes to like 64 from 12 at steady throttle. is this tps defective or something else triggering it. got this reading by graphing tps on obd2 it spikes to 64 only when it misfires. any ideas this is using Acton cp-9580 obd2 otherwise it is a flat line except on acceleration.
