hi all
i am trying to get this jag to run for a mate .
it just failed to start one morning, on investigation it had no signal from the crank angle sensor as the tacho showed no movement while cranking .
i have just replaced the CAS and it started first try drove it around for ten stopped n started a few times all seemed good . next morning no start ,tacho shows it cranking at approx 300 revs fuel pump can be heard running .
not sure what to do.

The CKPS was the correct choice but the new one is probably bad out of stock

Thinking / editing

the first 3 seconds of fuel pump operation is triggered by the ignition switch

The second turn back on for the duration of your drive is the CKPS seeing engine rotation / safety design

You can jumper the fuel pump relay to keep the fuel pump running at all times but this will drain the battery with the keys in your pocket

Pics coming

Your power sockets are 3 and 5 or 30 and 87

You'll have to use heavy gauge wire with blade type connectors for better connection , the auto parts store counter can sometimes make one up for you

The CKPS CEL code P0335 will not always appear in its different modes of usage like fuel pump enable
