1996 XJ6 - Opinions Welcome on issue.
Hi everyone,
Well, its one of those "wish I did not have to think about this right now things", but I have this on my hands and would like an opionion if able. 1996 XJ6.
I was driving about 3 days ago and all of the sudden felt like the ABS break system kicked in - got 3 lights Trac Fail, Anti Brake, Track off. I stopped the car and I was able to turn off the lights with the Trac on button.
Over the next couple days the lights stayed off, but the anti brake system would often kick in during stops.
Yesterday:
I had the front breaks pads done since the car needed them, but understandably so, the anti brake system still kicked in during stops.
Today:
I took the car to a local foreign repair shop. Car breaks no problems all of the sudden, track fail lighst are still one. NO CODES come up on diagnostic at all. All fuses, relays are fine.
The shop did tell me the ground wire to the ABS sensors is a bit corroded?
Jag gurus and owners - please voice opinion what I should do? Could this be the pump? Should I leave my car for a day there and I have the guys in cleaning stuff in the ABS system,. Or, should I wait a couple days to see what turns up, since the car breaks fine right now?
Many many thanks in advance,
Mike.

Hi Doug,
Thanks for replying. We will go clean connections and plugging them back in. I'll be back with progress. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Whenever anything goes wrong with any car that I have - its upsetting to me - not sure why? Maybe its that perhaps I'm a car fan ;-)
Best,
Mike.
