Default 1997 jaguar xjr v6 supercharged...problems

Ok i recently bought this car from a guy that couldnt find out the problem with the car an gave up it was a good deal so i took it. car interior is perfect an the outside is in good shape jus a paint job. drove fine for the first couple days then the tranny light came on then it went into a bucking mode so i turned the car off then back on an the light went off drove fine next day same problem i put the car in neutral turned the car off then back on the light went off then i put it into gear an it drove fine again. so after that a couple months went pass an it would go back into bucking mode a few times then one day the check engine light came on so i hooked it up to a reader and 4 codes appeared (p1775 manfac tran control) (p0730 gear ratio incorrect) (p0139 02 sensor)and (p0122 pedal positioning sensor) so i dont know where to begin can anyone steer me in the right direction thanks

Say, Derek. If you were to figure out how to add some punctuation and sentence structure to your post, you would probably get better response!

Your symptoms could result from a weak battery. Check that the voltage is over 12.4 before starting and over 13.5 when running. Poor power and ground connections are another possible problem.

We behave in a civilised manner on the forum and treat each other with respect. This is the first and last time you respond to a veteran forum member in that manner.

If you wish to remain here then take the suggestion on board in any future posts.

I blame whoever put that, as you say, "bullshit" V6 into your Jag where a proper straight six should be.

I'm curious if you have a XJR straight 6 supercharged...... as opposed to a V6?

Ross, I expect he will not be back, unfortunately. But I don't think I have seen a post that difficult to understand and you were certainly not out of line in your response.

Actually, I also hope he returns. It sounds like he could use some good advice to keep his car on the road. We all get a little on edge when our car ia not behaving, so I hope that is what happened to Derek.

It seems to me that we have a member in trouble and is needing help. Not a single comment has helped him, and a few have been annoying - even to me sitting on the side lines! We are supposed to be a good helpful community - not nit-pickers!

The issue isn't the members not wanting to help but it's the lack of punctuation used which tends to make people not want to read it to understand it. Ross has always been helpful whenever he can be. He's helped me numerous times but I try to make my cries for help as easy to read as possible with line breaks and punctuation so it makes it easier for someone to help me.

Remember someone on here is asking for help, the least someone can do is make it easier for the people helping them so they can possibly get the best help possible.

That's true, but we need the OP to help us understand what the car is doing and what the problem is before we can help him. Proper grammar and the problem explained clearly and succinctly will allow us to help him quickly narrow down what might be wrong and how to go about fixing it.

At the moment I have no idea what his car is doing because I don't understand the question; so cannot offer any intellegent suggestions that might help. Anything I say would be a stab in the dark, and that's not proper diagnosis.

I'm willing to help anyone with keep an XJR on the road, but that first post was an incoherent mess.

You need to slow down and organize your responses. Your lack of punctuation in your posts makes it very difficult to understand.
What exactly is wrong with the car? What are the symptoms?

What work has been done to it? This is critical information, and it sounds like you have been leaving some info out.

Do you work on the car, or do you have a trusted mechanic?
