1997 XJR seat does not move forward or back. I was told that it is most likely the module. Where is it located, and how can I get to it, provided the seat does not move. Thanks.

 

It is right up under the seat toward the front, and as I recall it is held in with one screw at one end that once removed allows the module to just slip out.

I think you have to unbolt the front of the seat, and loosen the rear, so you can lift the front to get a stubby screw driver up under the seat to unscrew the screw.

And of course you have to unclip/unplug the two harness connectors.
