4,000 plus Miles Trip Across The Country
- My daughter and I drove a 1997 Jaguar XJ6 across the county from Nashville, TN to Seattle WA. We took this trip last July of 2020. I bought her a extreme low mile S-Type Jaguar. However, I decided to give her my bullet proof XJ6 instead. She's got accepted to PLU on a full ride scholarship. We took our time and reached Seattle in 14 days. It was a perfect ride, in style with zero issue. I watched out for other Jaguars during the trip and maybe saw less than a dozen during the 4,000 plus miles drive. We stayed at camp, five star hotel, motel, and slept in car. We had the best food in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington. A few memorial places that we stopped were Grand Canyon, Pacific Coast Highway 1, Red wood Forest. We drove through the mountain dirt's road in California to bypass the forest fire. Last phot shown my daughter drove away with Jaguar.

Sounds like an awesome trip. It's great that the car can still pull off such a journey with (I hope) no troubles.
The car looks good wherever you put it, some great pics in there, I like the moody sunset pic.
Must have been tough to se them go

You made the most out of that journey! Quality time with the daughter, and the Jaguar. Tough to send them both out on their own!
Glad the XJ6 lived up to its reputation. Now I'm itching for a road trip. The view over that hood never gets old.

Mine just did 2000 miles round trip from Florida to PA for All Ford Nationals and yes they let me in lol. Fantastic little cruiser, everything was fine, drinks fuel like my semi-truck but otherwise, very nice. I bought it from Dallas TX and drove it home.
