Default 95-97 XJ6 Headlamp switch knob

Broke the headlamp switch knob. Do any of the reigning XJ6 champs know if it's shared with any other models? you wouldn't believe what price they command... TIA

Do you have picture what exactly you broke (and how did you manage to do that anyway?)

Thank you sir- any idea (if you do indeed have a spare) what it would cost to mail it to the US (it's a small part- would fit inside a small padded envelope... )by the way- I didn't break it- SWMBO ( are you familiar with thet term?) turned it the wrong way when she was trying to "help out" by moving the car for the snowplow....

Apparently standard delivery with Post Office, which should take around 5 working days, would cost no more than 3.30 of the pound sterlings. Now it is just the case of finding it, I suspect it is in one of 2 boxes in the garage (yeah, I'm still living with boxes unpacked, came back from South America and haven't found new house yet...)
So, I shall look for it today and let you know before I set off to work in the evening (which should be some time in the afternoon for you). So it is only that plastic knob she broke, rest of the switch is still there and working fine, I assume?

Good thinking Tim, although you're wrong this time. And I shall prove it on this example:

American dashboard with wheel on the left of the vehicle and the switch on the left

And UK (El Gato Grande) with wheel on the right and switch on the left :P

By the way Dan, I've found it, I knew I kept rest of the spares somewhere in the box after I fixed my lights problem (which by the way I caused myself as well)...

You mean it's an apostrophe rather than a comma? lol, couldn't resist.

Ohhhh, good to know. I figured it was on the outboard edge of the dash. Toss it in a padded envelope and stick some postage on it. LOL

My wife posted the switch today, as she promised (and that's a big surprise!)
So hopefully it should be with you within a week, if we're lucky!
