Have a 96 V12 Long wheel base LHD. Rear suspension feels hard. Like as if it was a an XJ40 with failing spheres. On flat surface fine but when you drive on freeways with joins in the road it seems to bounce. Very annoying. New tyres, new front shock mounts. Is it rear shocks? I did the shock test and it seems not bad. Help please?

 

Your symptoms indicate rear shock absorbers, failing internal valves give odd symptoms.


Trouble is, its a few hundred to eliminate them ;-(
