so I could do it again if I had to!

& also the clearance for each valve only changed maybe .01mm after it was all said & done. so as far as I know, I'm good, everything else is still straight and in good order.

My name is Kevin. I have a 1995 Jaguar Vanden Plas with 176,000 miles on it. I was reading in your post where you changed some valves on your 1996 XJ6 cylinder head. Did you replace the valves yourself, and is it very hard to do? I ask this question because I have some bent valves on my cylinder head from the primary timing chain breaking while I was on the interstate driving at 60 MPH and I need to change out some valves because I have three cylinders with no compression. I have taken the cylinder head off and I can tell that the valves are bent and are staying open on the compression stroke.
