Good evening. Week ago I bought 97 VDP with 62k miles. The car was sold with electrical issues, not running. I had it delivered last week and delivery truck driver was able to start it and it was running for about 30 min. When delivered to my house the car was dead. Charged the battery but still nothing. Today I bought brand new battery and was able to start her ( jumper on starter relay ). She runs really smooth, and I can't wait to get it going. However there are some problems which I'm going to list.

1) It won't start with the key.
2) The insturment panel is not working- no fuel, temp, etc.
3) Drivers seat not working.
4) Gear shift assembly is busted ( probably some butcher was messing with it ).
5)Drivetrain OBD codes P1775 and P1777.
6) After disconnecting battery mileage on the odometer disapeared.

I believe I have to buy good BPM module and go from there. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know. Thank you.

 

Hello everybody. Looks like I got her fixed ( almost ). After looking at electrical diagram last night and some tests I came to conclusion that I am not getting power to Instrument pack, N_P indicator, and TCM. The problem was LH heelboard relay. After replacing it started right up and pretty much everything works. The only thing that I haven't looked into is driver's seat and sunroof. Tomorrow I will replace gearshift assembly.
