AC hoses
I found the AC leak. The line from the evaporator to the dryer-the one that has the electrical connections attached to it near the firewall. It's leaking when the rubber is crimped to the metal line.
When I look online, all the replacements only show a single electrical connection, but mine has 2 (1995 X300) .
I'm thinking of taking it to a hose shop and just having the rubber portion replaced - only because of the different connections.
Can someone look at their AC lines to see if they have 1 our 2 connections?
If needed, I can post a photo of the connections.

Tim:
I am not sure of exactly what you are talking about on the switches but be aware there was a TSB to bypass use of one of the switches (in order to let the fans run all the time, not just when the AC called for fans), so later cars probably did not have that switch. Check archives for the bypassed fan switch.

The "new" hose from EverydayXJ came on Saturday, and was promptly installed. Vacuum was pulled and allowed to sit overnight with no change in reading.
On Sunday system was pressurized with new refrigerant, a little bit of replacement PAG oil, some UV dye for the next time, and the HVAC fault codes were cleared. Coooold air was enjoyed.
This morning I tested the system again and the air is still cold, with no fault codes. Ohhhhh, happy days!
