An Air conditioning compressor
and
shock absorbers
for my XJ6 3.2 Y1996 ?

Denso 10PA series for the compressor and Bilstein

There is a climate control bite test on page 110

The clutch can be replaced with the compressor left in place and hoses sill installed

The original compressor for your XJ6 is the Denso 471-1350. If you order this one keep in mind that all photos of this Denso online are not correct. All sales listings show the compressor with the 7 rib pulley for the XJ12. This mistake was originally caused by Denso in displaying the wrong picture on their website. The correct 471-1350 looks like this, with a 4 rib pulley:


The compressors themselves are the same other than the pulley and inlet manifolds. Pulleys can be swapped easily.

Other brands such as the Four Seasons 98325 show the correct picture.

You might need to re-use your inlet/outlet manifold on the new compressor.
