As i had a key insurance policy I claimed for a lost key and arranged for a local MD to where I work to do the work.

I arrived at the dealership yesterday all the staff were busy chatting in the corners amongst themselves so I called out is one serving on reception today and then there was 4 of them one to pull out my chair one to take my keys etc etc.

Anyway they had been assigned the job of supply key and fob and progrogramme to the car the lad had previously advised 1hr.

After an hour and 5 I asked how things were progressing he went through to the back and came back saying the key was programmed (Does the key get programmed?)
But then he said he couldnt programme the fob because the beeper would work on the alarm, yet it does on my other fob?

I await a call back today as they were chasing the insurance as they said something needed replacing.....

 

I went to the local dealer and inquired about a vibration at highway speeds, they test drove and came back with negative results. So I asked about an alignment and wheel balance and the answer was $50 per tire balance and that they dont align their own cars.

I dont know what that is really, do they mean the alarm will never sound..

I reckon they are swinging for more work...

I will keep you posted, no wonder my little jobs on the x330 I take to mates new garage at £25 an hour for labour, he quoted me £110 for a job once and when I went to collect the car he said he did it quicker and charged me £65. Would a MD do that... We all know the answer
