Default Battery keeps going dead

Still having electrical issues with my 1995 XJ6. I still havn't figured out why the instrument lights won't dim or go off unless I pull the fuse, however now there is another problem. The car has been at the body shop for the past three weeks and the battery has gone dead twice causing the body man there to jump start it. The battery is brand new(about 1 month old) and everything is shut off. The battery seems to go dead when it sits a few days. I guess I havn't encountered this problem before because I daily drive it and the alternator puts out good. Any ideas here?

There was a TSB out on parasitic battery drain a number of years ago that was associated with the turn signal/light stalk if I remember correctly. Also not sure it applied to your car.

Something like that could also have a link to your panel dimmer issue.

Sure the body shop is not using your sound system as the shop music source?

grashopper-
Exactly which fuse are you pulling. If it aint what test point suggested, I'll bet the two are related.

I am not sure of the fuse because the car is still at the shop, however it is located in the fuse box which is located under the rear seat on driver side. I will check it tomorrow and get back with you.
