My XJR has Pirellis fitted at the moment but they're showing their age (slight cracks in the tyre walls...) so I'm looking to replace them.

Any thoughts on replacements? My main concern is high grip and low noise!

How much tread do you have left?

 

My XJR has an old half-worn set of Bridgestone Potenzas
They have great grip, and I can barely break traction with them (although I don't try too hard).
I have a set of 18" Toyo Pr
oxes C1S 245s on Asteroid wheels on my 3.2 litre 215 bhp Daimler, and I can just spin those on a dry roundabout if i try hard, by comparison

 

I have potenzas on my VDP with XJR wheels. I like them but they are not cheap by any means! I would recommend them, good ride and excellent grip
