Body Processor Module Interchangeability?

xj bpm
hi i had bought a used unit here in nz,was told it was out of a good car lights etc working,however pluged it in still has all the same faults.should i take it to jag dealer to reprogame the unit ??.cheers pete

Slightly off topic, but FWIW, I found that the wheel speed sensors on my daily 96 Sovereign 4.0l were different to those on my 97 donor Sovereign 3.2 and aren't interchangeable. Always worthwhile checking part numbers etc.

No, there units do not need to be reprogrammed.
