I got a good look at my front suspension (1995 x300) while it was on the rack at the exhaust shop, and I saw that the rubber from the bottom of the shock is gone, leaving the shock end to bounce around on the bold that still goes through.

I would refer to this as the lower shock bushing.

Rock auto has "ÜRO PARTS Part # CAC75851 Control Arm Bushing - Front, Lower/Outer, 1pc (2 req. per vehicle)"



Is this what I need?? If not, please steer me in the right direction....

 

Looks right, and the C7585-1 number is correct for a front shock lower bushing. The description of "control arm bushing" is a little off the mark, though.

well, it bolts it to the lower control arm, I guess.

 

Yep thats it, mine were clunking so bad over bumps it was embarrassing, did the right side and no more nois i still need to do my drivers side.
