Default Brake Part ID

Hi Folks. We've had some brake issues on out 1996 xj6 and so I'm in learning mode. Can anybody tell me the name of this device attached to the ABS unit (pipe sticking up). And are there places online to purchase a new one if need be? We have one that may be leaking.

Thanks so much!!

Bobby

It looks like it might be a Conscious pressure valve according to the JEPC. There are several part numbers for models with 3.2L, 4.0L, or 6.0L engines and with/without traction control.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry so long. Other issues took my attention. Yes, you are correct. That is a pressure conscious valve. Your information helped us track down more info. Below are more pics just for future reference for anybody else inquiring. From an 1996 xj6 4.0 w/o traction control. Ours was leaking from the larger o-ring apparently for a very long time as the paint was eaten away all around and under the ABS unit. A good replacement for the bad o-ring turned out to be a 20mm x 1.5mm O-ring seen in green here purchased from Amazon. It's been leak free for a month now.
