Default XJ6 trunk lid

Hi fellas. I have a '95 xj6 that someone kicked in the boot lid. I am trying to get a used one and have it painted. I found someone here in the area that has a '99 xj8 he is parting. Would that boot lid work? Also would his steering wheel work in my X300?

Thanks,
Ruben Velez

What area of Florida do you live in? I may be able to point you in the right direction for a X300 trunk lid. I believe the XJ8 is the same but don't quote me on that as they changed some of the electrical connectors from one to the other.

Agree with 95Leaper. The boot lid from a 1998 XJ8 would be the same, but the tail light wiring loom would be different.

Sorry fellas, I need to update my information. I live in Jonesboro, ga, just SE of Atlanta. I can swap out the wire loom with the one from the dented lid
