hi guys
had to share, i had a problem/s with my car, new battery (as advised) solved most but one. my brake lights were not working also it would not come out of park? so i decided to check switch, not easy to get to but had it out and it worked fine, then i noticed one part fit's in other and adjusts so i moved them apart as far as possible and re-fitted and now car comes out of park and brake lights work

Nice fix, Chris. The "no cost" fixes are the most rewarding! Although I had to buy a switch for my six a few years back. All has been well with that since (had the same symptoms). Done a bunch of no cost fixes on my newest addition VDP in the past few months. It had many little problems that I was able to sort out. Cheers!
