Bulb Warning Light
Hi Guys,
I hope you are all well, Looking for a little assistance on my Daimler Six X300 (1994)
I believe the car has been fitted with the upgrade of X308 headlights, and thus uses H7 Bulbs. As soon as I switch on the side lights the Bulb Warning Light symbol appears on the dash. Now from what I can understand the Original car came with H1 Bulbs and now has been upgraded is there a way to rectify this warning light issue? I have checked the whole car and no exterior light is not working.
Any help would be appreciated.

On later model X300s the headlights are not controlled by the external light control modules
See page 107

If all the external lights are working the current ( warning light is a current sensor ) can be limited by resistance in the system , wrong bulbs , bad connections
On your early X300 you will have 2 external light modules under the bonnet
There are 4 black square 13 pin connectors under the 4 corners of the car in a bad environment . That your external lights go through
