Clocks are interchangeable?

Hi,
I have a simple worded question and am hoping the answer is also easy. I looked online and could not find out if LNA6292BA and LNA6292AA are interchangeable? It is the unit that has the clock, door lock button, etc. I personally have LNA6292BA. I suspect that one is just a newer version of the other(??)

The clocks are different. Some have switches for heated seats.

You can install a heated-seats clock in a non-heated seats car and everything will work just fine. Go the other way and you lose functionality of the heated seats.
