Exclamation Completely stumped

1996 XJ6 4.0L wont start. Fuel pump doesn't run,(replaced) lack of power, will run if relay (also replaced) is removed and points jumped still wont start, No spark to coils. Checked emergency cut off switch, okay. Checked cam speed sensor (replaced) NOTHING. Any advise is welcome as I don't know were else to look. Keeping in mind there isn't a Jaguar mechanic with in miles in. Thank

Yeeeees , someone threw so meat in the cage .

Mine was modified by the previous owner and the modification went bad because of the workmanship so I learned about the circuits so it would , so it would , so it would puuuur like a Jaguar . Hang on .

The Cam position sensor is used to aid the starting sequence but the car will start with the Crankcase position sensor but take more revolutions .

Did you get the 3 clicks ( on - off - on ) of the fuel pump relay during the starting sequence ?

There is a fuse in the Heelboard area of the rear seat that controls the relay other then the power that passes through the relay to the pump .

Do you show RPM's on the gauge as you rotate engine ?

Do you feel a click on the king relay in the RH engine fuse box ? If so you can still swap relays in the LH fuse box that is used only for the horn .

Since you have no ignition check fuse # 12 / 10 amp RH fuse bow for coil power source .

Do you feel a click in the ECU controlled relay # R5 ? If so you can still swap relay with the A/C relay # L3 . This is the second source of ECU and sensors power after the first timed power to the ECU .

To complicate maters you may have put your engine in a bore wash condition where the unburned fuel may have washed the oil off the cylinder walls so you don't have the compression for a successful start , easy to resolve .

If you now have fuel at the injectors and spark at the plugs inject a small amount of oil into each cylinder to see if that helps.
