Could bad Crank Sensor explain no Spark?

Could bad Crank Sensor explain no Spark?

Title explaisn it all. Could crank sensor mean no spark? And also are there any parts I should think about replacing that may be the culprit to having no spark?

Coils and plugs are brand new also had coils tested and they worked.
Car is a 96 xjr

Yes, it will stop the spark. It may be possible to see the effect on the tach, which should show about 200 rpm if sensor is working.

As many as I have replaced over the years I advise that you keep a 'spare CKPS in the boot'.

Airtex/Wells or Standard Motor Products has them for a little over a hundred bucks.
