crazy with electric seats
I Am becoming crazy with my x300 electric seats.
every time I Remove the key to leave the car the driver seat goes all the way back.
Please where can I find the user manual ?
I do not know what is going wrong here but I need to read how it shouls work at least.
thanks

It is supposed to work that way if yours is a memory seat. The steering column and seat will retract to allow your entry and exit comfortably, a feature commonly found in luxury cars. Page 29 of the Driver's Handbook (available for download in the Stickies) explains how the memory seat works.

so this is insane and drive me crazy.
Every time I turn off the engine and remove the key the steering well goes to default position, and the driver seat go all the way back.
When the ignition key is inserted again, the steering wheel comes back to memorized setting but the driver seat stays all the way back, and I have to manually readjust it.
I tried to memorize the seat position by pressing memory button, then button numbered one and I hear a "beep" sound. Once I Try to recall 1, the seat does not move.
I don't know I hope I am doing some wrong operation, but I'm really clueless now.

Common, very common.... and unfortunately irritating and difficult issue to remedy.
Read this:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ations-134056/
Bottom line summary: The seat memory potentiometers for everything except the headrest height are prone to mechanical failure as the plastic becomes brittle and breaks. They in theory can be modified and repaired if you have the time and patience (but no long-term feedback on the longevity of said repairs), or they can be replaced if you can find the parts, but are very expensive.
Most owners just give up and either reposition the seat themselves each time they get in the car, which is what I do, or they turn off the "auto" function as you have done.
Good luck!

... well, you're a lucky one
I'm not sure what the actual failure rate is for all X300/308s, but it's common enough to be discussed pretty commonly here and on Ferrari (uses the same part apparently) forums.
I pulled the seat from a wrecked car one time that clearly had high mileage, and the pots were all fine. So it isn't guaranteed that your seat will fail. But a lot do.
I too leave mine on "auto" as it makes a huge difference for me.... for entry and exit to have the seat slide back and wheel pull away.

Shall we play ?
There are 5 fuses at the rear seat heelboards
Look for some form of resistance value other then a open from :
Red through all Greens
Black through all Greens
The values may differ depending on the seat position , just as long as there are no opens .
You'll know if the motors are OK by running them .
