Diagnostic & Calibration Stuff
If it's a 1995-up I think it should have and obd2 port, but I could be wrong on that

Hello Motorcarman, what is a ROW and I have had the center consol out to replace the safety neutral switch and never saw a OBDII connector. I always thought it would be on the lower left front dash by the door hinge post on a left hand drive vehicle.
If it's 1994 XJ and you don't have the OBD2 on the driver side under-dash.... than diagnose the engine codes from the dash either center display or cluster, when you first turn ignition on without starting the engine, it will display a number example ( 1 or 2 or 4 etc..), to erase the codes just start the engine and it will erase all engine codes and log new codes if there is any, and these new logged codes will be read at the next ignition cycle without starting the engine...
ABS and TRANS error codes on a non-obd2 XJ will be read thru the serial port in the trunk
