Default Drivers Seat Rearward Travel

I'm about 193 cm (or 6' 4" in the old money) and find I don't really have enough leg room to drive the X300 on long trips really comfortably. Is there any way of getting a bit more rearward travel into the drivers seat? I don't mind cutting down on rear seat legroom because there is seldom more than two in the car anyway.

Thanks

How are your welding skills? With that pretty much anything can be achieved.

wow, I'm 6', and when the seat is all the way back, I can't even see the pedals. Are you sure it's going all the way back?

Welding skills aren't much good I'm afraid .

I think it's going all the way back (It goes back as far as the passenger front seat). I might have to pull it out and have a look to see what can be done.

My gripe is that the drivers seat needs to be lower. All mechanics are in working order, just jaguar thinks that is good enough. My elbow doesn't even touch the arm rest on the door.
