Pulled my ECU for a health check. And started wondering if a spare would be in order due to the cars age.
Went to ebay and started noticing 95-97 ecus but with update stickers in the 2000s.
No big deal, BUT then I noticed mine LNA1410VE/XXX doesn't match any others.
I noticed one ebay ECU that had 3 LNA end letters updated.
My question is what's the LNA? And if I bought one on ebay will I need to find someone to update it to LNA1410VE/XXX?

To drop in a different ECU is a odds thing that the orientation done at the factory to the ECU matches the fixed mounting position of your existing TPS
The orientation can be changed in the ECU with the special equipment or the TPS mounting holes can be upsized to allow the sensor adjustment to the existing ECU orientation
On paper the target that the 2 work together is 0.60 volts DC on the TPS return wire to the ECU ( Green / Yellow color wire ) at the TPS idle stop ( null )
On mine I had an issue with the TPS connector ( type EV - 1 ) was missing the connector lock metal clip to hold it in place for accurate connection / reading
