Default Engine Immobilization - Not installed on US-spec X300s, correct?

Hello,

A post I was reading reminded me to ask a question about the factory security system installed in 1995-1997 X300s. US-Spec cars do NOT have the immobilization feature active, correct? (Whether the hardware is all there and the software is disabled, or whatnot, is another question that someone might know)

Thanks,
Nick

Correct. That's why we have keys without the little imbedded electronic chip

Cheers
