Engine light on and car sputtering in idle

I have a 1996 XJ6 with 80K miles. Today car started running rough in idle and engine light came on, blinking. Any idea what is going on and how to fix?

You have a really bad miss and it's telling you to stop driving before you kill your cats.. get the codes read!
